March 2007

Its been a wonderful day! The weather is mild. The air is clear. I am working on my dolls and enjoying the process.

Kip and Marcela have purchased a house in Fl and I have begged Kip to send some pix. Tomorrow is Miss Maxim’s 6th birthday…she is growing up fast!

I put up a peg strip to hold my new spring bags.

I don’t know what is happening. It’s Friday again and the week flew by.  It’s as if time is compressed. Must be I’m getting older.

Today is not windy. Yesterday was so bad that I could hardly stand up. There were wind warnings all day. Stuff has blown all over the yard. Today in comparison is calm. I hope to get the small backyard flower beds finished so I can prepare for greens planting there in late April. The snow is quickly disappearing and the hens are everywhere. They have dutifully pecked up all the blown/fallen bird seed!

This bag has fabric flowers on it.

The dampness has triggered some breathing difficulties. Yikes. I feel like someone is standing on my chest. The secret to dealing with it is to take it really easy. No exertion. Ha…not my style. However it is the type of thing that cannot be overcome just by sheer will soooo……   I guess I’ll just be lazy and rest for a bit.

It is warm but extremely windy  today. Inside DH has gotten a really cozy fire going.  Life is good.

What a beautiful boy.

I had a wonderful visit with JeannieB yesterday. For an “old” gal who had a knee replacement just 5 days ago she is incredible. Her smile is wider than a river, leading me to conclude that the past six months of unexplained pain has dissipated.  Iy’ll tale at least 6 weeks for her to fully recover but after that…watch out! There’ll be no stopping her. Adventures here we come.

I got my business account yesterday  and signed up my studio site for paypal. That means in 3 to 5 days that will be up and running. It makes me feel more official as well!  I am hoping to get some quilt photos up soon.

The days are gettin warmer. Oh how I love that. I am getting the backyard boxes cleaned and warmed up for early lettuce planting. Spring…I love it!!!!
