She lives here. She likes it here but she’s not our cat. We call her “Millie”.

Paul and Peter spent a good part of the day fishing. Peter got quite sunburn.

Julie got lettuce from

the garden for supper. We all were very tired from the heat.

The day was hot. The air was dangerous but I was in good shape. Thank you, Tee.

We went to Calais and tried to pick up breathing meds. Doc gave me a 3 month prescription however at $272 per month it was way beyond my means. Doc had given me samples before. I went back to Doc but he had no samples and an expired coupon for the med I needed. He suggested I ask the pharmacist to call and try to redeem it. He also gave me meds for my nebulizer…one for smokers that was heavy duty. Back to Walmart..  they called and said I could get the med for a co-pay of $150.  I walked away.  As we were leaving the store the pharmacist ran up to me and said, “Come back after two.  I pushed some more buttons and you can have the month’s meds free.”

Wow. Isn’t God good?

Tonight when I used the “smoker’s med” I finally got great relief. (I never smoked…just have smoker’s lungs!)

Tonight we had Stromboli for supper. Yum!

No coughing, no choking just peaceful sleep…and in the bedroom. Yesterday morning we closed all the windows in the bedroom, I washed the bedding and removed the down comforter and we ran the air all day. It was great to breathe thru the night again.

Julia is here and we had a wonderful visit last night. She brought doll magazines from the late 70s and early 80s. What a treasure trove . The guys went fishing and came home at dusk giving us plenty of time for gabbing.  We tried rolling yarn on needles and cooking it for 15 minutes to make doll curls. It sorta worked. We’ll work on the concept more today.

My beans have finally started o poke through as well as my beets. These are in my tiny back garden.  My tomatoes and peppers have flowers but that spot where I have them is kind of rough. I hope they make it.
