This beautiful Araucana, blue egg laying bird won’t be laying anytime soon. She is a rooster! He has spent the last three days loving up any hen he can get his claws on!

I read the entry before this, took a second look and said to Steve, “I wonder if Jan’s heard him crow yet. I’m sure that’s a rooster.” Scroll down one and tada, it is in deed a rooster.

He looks like Harley, our rooster - we have two -Harley has the black and Rupert has the brown spots. But Harley is going ‘next door’ to our neighbors as we have too many roosters!
