Dark and dreary and wet today! I have tended the hens half of which are out enjoying the dampness and pecking here and there while the other half are sitting pretty on the roost! This seems like the way people behave… some just get out no matter what and others cling to their safe roost.
I am working hard to use the leftovers from the weekend (thank you Shanna) . Last night we had enchiladas with an online recipe from Owl Haven. They were both easy and delicious. It used up the chicken thighs. Tonight we will have stromboli using the cold cuts and fresh tomatoes. Sadly the brownies are all gone, we had the last two with our coffee today. Jeannie B took three home with her to keep us honest!
