DH and I were foster parents for over 13 years. Our first placements were 6 week old twin boys weighing less than 4 pounds each. In addition their Mom came almost every day and after a bit became a very good mom to these special boys. The photo in the back was taken the day the boys went home. They were just over 11 months old.

DH and I were younger then!
