On this very wet and rainy day Henny Penny brought her brood out and let them play in the water that flows down the ditch when it rains. Although she was soaked they were all happily playing. What a good mom she has been!

These two are the weekend’s work. Grace is a 16 inch and Susanna , a 12 inch. They are for sale here.

Robin came over for coffee and we sat in the greenhouse drinking it and enjoying the cuteness of the six little ducklings. She, of Seasons Eating Farm, provided the eggs for Henny Penny to sit on!

Henny Penny already has brought the ducklings out of the nest and has be scratching here and there. They copy everything she does. I put scratch on newspaper and she showed them how to eat it.

I brought this one over to my neighbor who is housebound. She was thrilled to hold him. He chirped rather loudly the whole time he was visiting.
