Tee brought me lily of the valley about three years ago from her foundation plantings around the house that had burned. They are spreading and their scent is profound.

22 years ago an older lady brought me a sprig of her rose bush to put in the ground. Every year since it has grown and produced the sweetest smelling roses and it sits right under the bedroom window.

 

The hens have cleaned up around the new sprouts.
