DH’s camera does a better job than mine and he willingly rushed from making breakfast to getting these shots for me!

I looked across the street and saw these this morning just as I was setting the table for breakfast! I think they thought they were invited.

Coffee in the living room was interrupted by nature in the field! Yep, wild turkeys!

Our mighty hunter thought thatthe three deer heading toward the pea patch this early morning might make a tasty breakfast. As the deer meandered up the back hill ever closer to the house and the garden, Milegro slithered his way down the edge of the garden thinking he would pounce.  Eventually they, wary as they are, sensed his presence and turned and ran back down the hill. The peas are safe once more but the cat is left disappointed and hungry!

On another note, the 28 chicks/ half grown hens are constantly hungry. They are set free during the day when someone is here and have wandered about picking bugs and bits of vegetation to feed their insatiable appetites. Its a sight to behold!

This 600# moose was shot by out -of- staters on my morning census route. They graciously let me take a picture.
