I brought this one over to my neighbor who is housebound. She was thrilled to hold him. He chirped rather loudly the whole time he was visiting.

What a surprise to discover five little ducks in the nesting box! And then when DH lifted the hen to see another hatchling still wet! The turkey egg is still whole and she is still setting. I removed the extra egg that looked to be a hen egg since we know that isn’t fertile. She is a good mother tucking them up under her wings and puffing up when I get too close. I had to lift her wing to get this photo!
