The snow finally came. It is still snowing. I went out to collect eggs and had to shovel out the door of the hen place.
I thought I would spend part of my day in the sewing room and was able to complete this 12 inch redhead.

We are ready to party!
The weather, however, is NOT cooperating with a nor’easter in full swing. No matter we have one friend in walking distance so he’ll enjoy spinach lasagna, homemade bread and carrot cake with us.
I finished the first set of clothes for Oskar. He is a sweetheart.

This skittish bird has gotten braver and braver as the cold winter hangs on. He was just outside the kitchen window on the feeder. Usually we only see them on the ground and in quick flight.
