While we were savoring the wonderfully warm springlike day in our dreams of yesterday the night brought another dump of snow. It is wet , clingy snow hanging on all the branches and fences. It makes the landscape pretty but hardly Spring like!
Oh when, oh when, will it end?????

I am on a roll here trying this and that.
I have learned to do the crochet loop stitch and find it useful in some hair styles. I am also working on a pattern, not just winging it, to knit up the sweet undergarments. All this is keeping me busy enough not to notice the snow [...]

It is snowing today, what else is new?
This is a whopper. We certainly won’t get out the door without taking out the storm door window and climbing through. The gas heater won’t run until we shovel out the outlet on the outside. Eventually the snow sticking high up the windows will fall off and we [...]

I am trying to calm myself from the day’s events. I am thankful I did not encounter the bobcat in the barn with the hens and glad to feel safe in my barn again.
This afternoon I finished this little lady, a custom order. I hope to have better pictures tomorrow so I can post them [...]

Paul and Harold are out on Spednic Lake braving the wind and ice fishing. Paul got some ice fishing equipment and wanted to try it out so Harold obliged. I got to stay home.
I spent the morning finishing up a doll and making her some clothes.
I am not sure which I like better but will [...]

And continued through the morning. Light fluffy white stuff has filled in all the dark, dirty places with a wonderful, pristine look. DH waded through it to feed the birds. Some didn’t even fly off while he cleaned off the table feeder and filled the hanging ones.
We had a great supper and certainly enjoyed having [...]

I sent out another doll this morning and then headed into town to get some needed items. Hopefully it’ll be the last trip in before Christmas. I have plenty to do here and am working on yet another doll. I got some more audio books at the library and returned the ones I had already [...]

I wore my crocs today with warm wool socks and there were so many puddles that my feet were wet most of the morning while I shopped and did errands in town. This rain is supposed to change over this evening to a wintery mix.
I had a wonderful lunch buffet at the Chinese restaurant with [...]
