The rain has stopped, the dreariness of both the day and soul has lifted.
God is good.
He meets us where we are, in the stillness of the evening and the first light if the morning. He brings light to our darkest hours and hope to our helpless spirits. He speaks with a still, small voice and we need but listen.
I am ready to get back to taking it one day at a time, one task at a time, His way.
Life is much easier that way. He tells me, “My yoke is easy, my burden is light.”
“Be anxious for nothing. Give it all to me.”
