Two weeks until Christmas comes. I finally pulled out some more decorations to brighten up our house. We generally leave the twinkle lights up until March or they burn out which ever comes first. It helps combat the early darkness of the winter season.
It was cold this morning prompting Husband to take his truck and log arch up the hill and fetch another tree out of the woods. Before now the ground has been soft with the warm weather and the rain meaning “don’t get the truck stuck.” Today he cut it up and hauled it down to the green house where he split a goodly amount. Our wood supply is growing by leaps and bounds thanks to his diligence and hard work. I am ever so grateful.
This morning before chores I was unaware of how cold it really was since the house was toasty.
