Old Folks Farmin’

This morning DH bush hogged the upper field where some neighbors had planted a few years back. It needs to be rototilled but first needed cutting.  I  planted the fall gardens with turnips, peas, beets, lettuce and spinach. I brought in a bowl of green beans and got them ready to can.

After lunch we picked up 26 bales of hay.  I drove, he loaded and brought it down.

I pushed the bales forward while he stacked them in the barn.

The hay cutter will be back to finish this afternoon and I suspect there will be another 26 or so bales.
