Autumn Chores and Beauty

It’s started to be much cooler here in Maine and the leaves are starting to change colors. We are busy with all the things around to farm that need to be done. I finally braided the onions and hung them today. They have been sitting in a basket for almost three weeks.

I cleaned up the tomato bed that held the Amish Paste tomatoes and put the green to almost red ones in a cart in the garage. They will be dealt within the next couple of weeks.  Husband has brought down some trees to be cut up and stacked in the greenhouse.

The fall peas are almost ready to pick.

The cantaloupe is getting close and if we have a frost warning they will come in to finish ripening inside.

And the Morning Glories are beautiful.
