Sandy was gentle with us here is northern downeast Maine. We had wind and rain over and over again as well as some thunder and lightning. The temps are in the 60s so it feels rather tropical. However the low barometric pressure certainly affected those of us with arthritis.
Fearsome headache, painful neck and back, hurting joints were the order of the past couple of days. My friends and I knew about the storm before it arrived…arthritis is a great storm predictor!
A hard hacking spell left me out of commission for three quarters of the day because, once again, I strained the muscle in my chest wall and back. Poor dolly is still in borrowed clothes!
Today will be a better day!
