I think that the older you get the better you like a regular routine. It seems to take the thinking out of “What should I do next?” My morning routine is pretty straight forward with wake up and have coffee. ( Usually between 5:30 am and 6am) Dress and do outside chores with the goats. Feed the cats. Take a 15 to 30 minute break. Start the laundry. Clean up the kitchen and start the dishwasher. Take another break and then eat breakfast. Turn on Rosie the robot to clean up cat hair and dirt. Take meds. Make the bed. This happens almost every morning. It makes my life very easy. I try to have thought out what we are having for supper in the morning so I don’t get blind sided at night.
Because I am still in the middle of undiagnosed health issues I sometimes take all morning to get this simple routine completed. Today my PA added a med schedule to my routine. I have been experiencing flares and have been frustrated as to how to make the best use of the meds I have to help with pain. I had to type out the list and put it on the refrigerator so I could remember what to take when. Thankfully it is only a six-day list when I have a flare and then I can go back to the regular med schedule.
Neither the cats or the goats let me lose track of their feeding schedules. They make enough noise for me to hustle to take care of their needs.
